Bluestem Stables is a work in progress.
Our long term goal is to turn it into an excellent, small breeding
farm. Currently, we are just getting started. Fences are being
built, barns are being designed and much planning and fun will
come with the future.
The name Bluestem Stables comes from a love of nature. At the stable,
we have planted some native plants for wildlife and use in exhibits.
These plants include Big Bluestem grass. It is a beautiful tall
prairie grass with deep roots. My
other business is Taylor
Studios, Inc. where we design and build exhibits. Taylor Studios utilizes
the trees and plants from the stable in exhibits from time to time. Combining
this love of nature and horses led to the name Bluestem Stables.
